Each day, WCWD helps its customers with a variety of water and sewer related problems and emergencies. We maintain on-call personnel who are able to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Should you call us or a plumber?
We make sure on-call personnel are available when you need them. However, there are some problems that require the services of a
licensed plumber and not WCWD.
As shown in the diagram below, WCWD is responsible for all facilities that lead up to your water meter and the water meter itself. All water lines and plumbing past the water meter are owned by the customer and therefore the customer's responsibility. If the water problem is on the "customer's" side of the meter, you
(the customer) will need a plumber to resolve the problem.
Our primary goal is to get you the assistance you need. However, if we respond to an emergency and determine the problem is not related to
our facility, you will be charged a service call fee to cover the cost of the visit.
