As our community continues to grow, Warren Water works constantly to ensure that proper pipes and facilities are in place to provide water and sewer services. Every Warren Water project is important to the vitality of Warren County; this page provides you with information about upcoming construction projects.

| Hwy 31W Water and Sewer Line Relocations |

This project consists of relocating existing water and sewer lines to accommodate the widening of Hwy 31W to 5 lanes from the Natcher Parkway to Dillard Road. Approximately 11,400 feet of 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, 12- and 14-inch water lines, 2,500 feet of 8-, 10-, 12-, & 15-inch gravity sewer, 700 feet of 4- and 8-inch force main sewer, and various accessories will be relocated. Bids for this project were opened on July 25, 2011, with Clay Pipeline, Inc., of Manchester, KY offering the lowest base bid of $1,128,978.00. Construction of this project began in August 2011 and will be complete by February 2012. Customer rates will not be affected by this project, as funding will be provided by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. |

| | | Rockfield School Sewer Line Extension |

This project consists of the construction of a sewer force main, a sewer pumping station, and a short section of gravity sewer line. The pumping station will be located near Rockfield school and the force main will extend from the pumping station to an existing sewer main on Hwy 68. The force main will be approximately 1.5 miles in length. As a result of this project, Rockfield School will be connected to public sanitary sewer, replacing an on-site wastewater treatment system. Bids for the construction of these facilities were opened on December 8, 2011. Clay Pipeline, Inc., of Manchester, KY was the low bidder with a base bid of $496,195.00. Construction of this project began in February and will be complete by mid-July 2012. |

| | | Buchanon Park Sewer Line Extension |

This project consists of the construction of a gravity sewer line from an existing sewer pumping station located on Richpond Road to Buchanon Park on Nashville Road. The sewer line will be approximately 1.4 miles in length. Approximately 0.6 miles of the line will be 15 inches in diameter and approximately 0.8 miles of the line will be 12 inches in diameter. Additionally, approximately 0.4 miles of 8-inch sewer lateral will be extended into Buchanon Park. As a result of this project, Buchanon Park will be connected to public sanitary sewer. The lines have been sized to accommodate planned and future development in this area. Bids for the construction of the sewer line were opened on October 13, 2011. Twin States Utilities & Excavation, Inc., of Mt. Hermon, KY was the low bidder with a base bid of $835,717.00. Construction of this project began in January and will be complete by the end of June 2012. |
