Warren County Water District, Simpson County Water District and Butler Water System, Inc. collected for United Way’s “Feed The Need” Food Drive donating more than 23,000 items from an employee base of approximately 60. The items collected were distributed between the three counties on March 17.
“Feed the Need is United Way of Southern Kentucky’s most significant event for providing Safety Net services in our community. Many people in our region continue to struggle with even the most basic needs like food. The support of our community partners like Warren, Simpson and Butler Water is essential to impact those needs. We appreciate the support of every employee at Warren, Simpson and Butler Water for their tremendous efforts in all facets of support for United Way. The employees have already made a generous commitment of nearly $22,000 in 2017 for United Way of Southern Kentucky during their employee campaign” added Debbie Hills, President & CEO.
